On the recruiting side, we help our customers re-engage the people they already know – past applicants and former employees – which is a critical need in this understaffed world and often translates to doubling their application flow. On the retention side, we uncover what matters most to our customers’ employees, automate check-ins and deliver actionable insights to improve their workplace. Our products are in high demand, we are growing quickly and driving towards becoming the Human Resources category leader for how companies improve an employee’s experience from initial job awareness through their employment journey.

The Partnerships Manager is the first partnership-dedicated role on the team and, depending on the candidate, will be responsible for one of both of the following types of partnerships:

  • Integration partnerships with applicant tracking systems (ATSs) and human resource information systems (HRISs)
  • Marketing channel partnerships with ecosystem players including ATSs, HRISs, and other businesses, associations, and people who serve the Quick-Service Franchise market

The successful candidate will report up to Rob Snyder, co-founder


The responsibilities for this role will continue to expand; the initial key focuses will be:

    • Supercharging existing partnerships: Generating additional revenue for HourWork while making our partners’ audiences and customers thankful for our partnership
    • (Potentially) Project-managing integration process for new partnerships, working directly with 1-2 engineering team members
    • Generating new partnerships: We have a long list of potential partners; you’ll be responsible for prioritizing outreach, prospecting, and working with Rob (Co-Founder) and Jack (VP of Sales) to close partnership deals
    • Building the HourWork partner playbook: As we learn and keep succeeding, we will likely grow the partnerships team and want to have a playbook we can hand off to new hires.

Role Mission

  • Support the Sales and Customer Success teams in reaching $6MM ARR by the end of 2022 and elevating our partnership program to be best-in-class.
  • Support the Product team by enabling our product to integrate seamlessly into the HR systems our customers use


  • Minimum of 3 years experience in SaaS partnerships
  • A knack for both strategy and execution
  • Strong desire to roll up your sleeves and do the dirty work
  • Extreme organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle many deadlines, drive to completion, and manage changing project scopes
  • Ability to create systems, processes and structure needed to be successful
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to have a front-row seat at an early-stage, fast-growing company. There are not many layers of bureaucracy to work through. You will have a huge impact here.
  • Understanding that always doing the right thing for our customers is the priority – even if it means we have to push ourselves harder.


Both equity and salary are transparent at HourWork. You will review our methodology during your first 1:1 with your supervisor.

The Partnerships Manager role is a full-time position. Expected days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
